Red Eye Tree Frog 

• Adult Size - Males 2.5" Females 3.5"
  
• Avg Lifespan - 5+ years
  
• Enclosure Requirements - an 18x18x24 Exoterra is a good size for 2 or 3 frogs. If you are keeping a larger amount then double the size. Remember they need more heights than length. 
  
• Substrate - Ecoearth or topsoil with sphagnum moss. Keep it moist. Spot clean everyday and completely change it every two weeks to prevent bacterial infections. 
  
• Heating & Lighting - Ambient Temp of 76-82, never over 83 degrees.  Nighttime temps as low as 72. A 5.0 jungle UVB is recommended. 
  
• Humidity - 60-80%. Make sure you keep a shallow water bowl with dechlorinated water or spring water. Distilled water is not recommended. 
  
• Diet - Crickets, small roaches, earthworms, hornworms, and silkworms. Feed every 2 days as adults and be sure your frog is not getting obese. 
  
• Supplements - Calcium should be used once a week and Vitamin/mineral supplement every two weeks. 
  
• You may want to use a glass bowl for the food so the frog can access it easily. They prefer a heavily planted area but sometimes that can make it hard to find the food, especially with juveniles.
